Drawing Competition Rules

Date and Time:  Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM 

Reporting Time : 10:30 AM

Venue: Keefe Regional Technical High School, 750 Winter St, Framingham, MA 01702

Registration Mandatory: Please use the link below to register ASAP as registration MAY CLOSE PRIOR to an announced date based on the response. 

Topic : 

1. Age: 6-8: Underwater world

PaperSize: A3 

    Duration : 45 mins

2. Ages: 9-11: Sky scrapers (Any skyscrapers)

PaperSize: A3 

    Duration : 1 hour

3. Ages: 12-15: The Beauty of a National park(Any National park Worldwide)

PaperSize: 18" * 24"

    Duration: 1 hour and 30 mins 

General Rules:

1. Strictly no reference sheets / pictures/ devices to refer and draw. Will be disqualified if found using reference.

2. Participants will be given Blank drawing sheet to draw.(Sheet size for each category is given above)

3. Participants have to bring their own supplies to the competition. (Allowed medium: Sketching pencils, Color pencils, Crayons, Oil Pastels, Black Sharpie- only to highlight the drawing. No paints / Water color Strictly)

4. Participants should begin drawing the picture in front of the judges and stop when judges are announcing the end time.


5. Participants should respect other peers during competition. They should not talk or make noise during the competition, It may lead to disqualification.

6. Participants can raise their hand, if they need help or have a question during the competition. Judges/ Coordinators will reach out to students.

7. Strictly, No parents or helpers will be allowed during the competition. It is not to distract the participants from drawing

8. After 45 minutes of uninterrupted drawing, Judges may ask 1 or 2 questions about the drawing to the Participants.

9. Kindly avoid water colors/ paints to prevent spills / stains.
